Levitate Expands into China with Teh Lin
Levitate has taken an important step in its global journey by entering the Chinese market in 2025, building on a collaboration with Teh Lin that has been growing over the past year. As one of the country’s leading prosthetics and rehabilitation providers, with a strong network of clinics across China, Teh Lin supports amputees throughout their rehabilitation process, from initial fittings to long-term care, making them a strong partner for introducing a more active approach to movement.
The trip took the Levitate team through Guangzhou, Zhangzhou, Xiamen, and Chengdu. It was an opportunity not only to present the products, but also to better understand the local landscape and connect directly with clinicians and the amputee community.
In Guangzhou, there was strong engagement from the start. Test runs and training sessions quickly turned into active participation, with both clinicians and users showing genuine interest in trying something new. It did not take long for the key benefits of our products to come through in practice, especially in terms of smooth movement, control, and overall comfort.
That same engagement continued in Chengdu, where the connection between product and user experience became even more evident. During the test runs, users experienced the smooth and controlled movement of the Forever 6’ and 7’, with many highlighting the stability and natural feel during use. These qualities resonated clearly with both users and clinicians.
Across all locations, what stood out was not only the product itself, but the overall experience. For many participants, this was their first exposure to an approach that goes beyond basic functionality and supports a more active way of living.
The sessions naturally evolved into shared experiences, where participants encouraged each other, exchanged feedback, and explored new possibilities together. Teh Lin played a key role in this process, their team was highly engaged, open to new ideas, and committed to improving outcomes for their users. This strong alignment made the collaboration seamless and reinforced a meaningful partnership between the two teams.
