Step Into the Summit: Professional Mountaineering Training with Forever Foot
Cold air, packed snow underfoot, and a long ascent ahead: on the slopes of Mount Smotrych, veteran Roman Havryliak set out on a winter climb that demanded focus, endurance, and trust in every step.

Together with fellow veteran Pavlo Harakh, Roman began a professional mountaineering course designed to prepare experienced participants for future leadership in the mountains. Snow covered slopes, technical passages, and long hours of steady climbing set the pace for two days, where winter terrain leaves little room for hesitation, every step requires focus, balance, and trust in your equipment.
Roman uses the Levitate Forever Foot, built for dynamic everyday movement and reliable stability across varied terrain. In the mountains, where compact snow shifts underfoot and uneven surfaces: test control, smooth rollover and consistent ground contact become essential.

Before his injury, physical activity was a natural part of his life, that did not change afterward. He continues to seek out new challenges, from adaptive sports to demanding outdoor environments. Mountaineering is oneof them, but with the support of the Forever Foot, he is able to take on steep ascents and prolonged effort while maintaining control and endurance in winter conditions.
“It wasn’t easy. Difficult terrain, snow, physical strain. But when you reach the top, you realize you’re capable of more than you thought. And that feeling is worth everything.”
The course itself focused on winter movement techniques, rope coordination, belaying systems, and mountain safety protocols, beyond the technical skills, it reinforced resilience and teamwork under pressure. For Roman, it was not only professional training, but it was proof that ambition does not end with injury.
With professional instruction provided by TURE, the program laid the groundwork for future expeditions led by veterans themselves. For Roman, however, the meaning was immediate: standing on the summit in winter conditions was a reminder that strength can evolve, and that with the right support, new goals remain within reach.
