Stronger Together: Chicago Test Run with Hanger Clinic

Our recent test run event in Chicago, hosted in collaboration with Hanger Clinic, brought together 16 participants for a morning focused on movement, learning, and community. Held at Intentional Sports, the session gave prosthesis users the chance to try Levitate’s Running blades, receive guidance from physical therapists and prosthetists, and connect with others who share similar experiences.

The day began with warm-ups and an introduction to the equipment, followed by mobility and running drills on turf. Participants also exercised together, supporting one another through each step and celebrating small wins as a group. For many, it was their first time using a running blade, and the combination of professional guidance and shared motivation created an empowering atmosphere.

Our partnership with Hanger Clinic helped make the event a success, ensuring everyone felt supported and safe throughout the session. The Chicago test run highlighted the value of creating spaces where prosthesis users can explore new possibilities and build confidence together.
