This past weekend, the Nova Post / New Run Kyiv Marathon brought together an impressive group of athletes, including Jacob Bolton, our very own Head of Innovation. Jacob ran the 10K alongside Chris, who completed the race as the only amputee – this time using a Levitate running blade. The two had previously tackled a half-marathon together in Lviv in May, and once again crossed the finish line.

The marathon wasn’t just about individual achievements; it was also a celebration of community. Participants from Invictus Games Ukraine ran together, highlighting the strength and spirit of everyone involved. One of the most powerful moments was the 1K race featuring over 20 veterans from Unbroken Ukraine, including those in wheelchairs. Their participation was a strong reminder of the day’s focus on solidarity and resilience.

At Unbroken Ukraine’s awareness tent, visitors had the chance to try our Levitate Forever prosthetic feet on stilts and experience navigating a wheelchair over small obstacles, helping raise awareness of the challenges faced by many.
