Hosted solely by U+ System for the first time since our collaboration, the amazing U+ team traveled from Kyiv to Dnipro, bringing hope to a region much closer to the frontline. The setting for this special event? The prestigious training facilities of Prometey basketball club, where 12 Ukrainian amputees gathered to restart their active lives.

This event also marked U+ System’s 5th major test run event in Ukraine.

What ensued was nothing short of inspiring.

A new sense of freedom swept through the attendees, igniting a chain reaction of excitement and community. As they cheered each other on, pushing boundaries and defying expectations, a newfound sense of empowerment grew in the group.

Among them stood Almas, a 61-year-old bilateral amputee, whose daily walks reached as high as 6 km / 3.7 miles. With the Levitate Forever at his feet, he now dared to dream bigger, setting his sights on walking a full marathon, and even testing the waters of running once more.

The event drew the attention of representatives from various state organizations, who marveled at the setup and its impact. Their reactions underscored the importance of initiatives like this in Dnipro, breaking barriers and bringing hope to communities often overlooked.
