We were invited to Ukraine by U+ System and Unbroken, two Ukrainian organizations dedicated to helping war-wounded soldiers and civilians get back on their feet – quite literally!

Here we met Aleksander, a Ukrainian veteran whose courage knows no bounds. After two months of surgeries following a devastating frontline explosion nearly one year ago, Aleksander was given a chance to try out our incredible everyday foot – the Levitate Forever – and the Levitate running blade. And guess what? He was up and walking within minutes, embracing his newfound mobility with a smile. Next to him was U+ CEO and Aleksander’s surgeon, Oleksandra Mostepan, who also discovered new ways of getting her heroic patients up and running again.

Meeting the resilient and spirited people of Ukraine was an absolute honor and we were left lost for words. We’re already gearing up for our return trip to Ukraine, where we plan to host veteran test run events in Kyiv and Lviv. We can’t wait to go!
