Limb Loss Awareness Month: Kelly's road to her running blade

When Scottish single mom of twins, Kelly Paddon, lost her right leg to sarcoma at only 15 years old, she was instantly rendered incapable of living the active life she lived before. Her running blade has changed all that.

The first Scotswoman

Fast-forward to 2022. The Move For Jenn Foundation, located in the United States of America, which works to fund running blades for sarcoma survivors like Kelly, was looking to expand their generosity beyond America’s borders. That’s when Kelly met Jenn Andrews, founder of The Move for Jenn Foundation.

“When I say this woman is SO deserving, I am not sure that covers it! She is so relatable, so determined, so driven and just needs the tools to be as active as she aspires to be! How could we not want to help this incredible mom of 5 year old twins?!”, says Jenn Andrews in an Instagram post announcing the funding of Kelly’s new running blade.
