For Pei Mang, a seasoned triathlete and Paralympic medalist, the World Triathlon Cup 2024 in Chengdu, China was another challenge in his storied career. With a history of triumphs in swimming, including silver and bronze medals in butterfly events at the Athens and Beijing Paralympic Games in 2004 and 2008, Pei Mang embraced the opportunity to test his endurance on land. The transition from water to pavement was seamless for Pei Mang, whose dedication to training and competition knew no bounds.

In total, Pei Mang completed 1.5 km of swimming, 20 km of cycling and a 5 km run.

Sam Schaeffer’s marathon journey unfolded with spontaneity and adventure. With only 36 hours’ notice, Sam answered the call to tackle the marathon, relying on the logistics of his training and the support of his team. As he navigated the course on his Levitate running blade, Sam discovered the true essence of endurance, completing the race in 5.5 hours.
