We Run Together

Get inspired by our everyday athletes

Learn from our community of blade runners as they embark on a journey towards a more active life.

From the frontlines to the finish line.

Vasil's journey is nothing short of incredible. After losing his leg on the Ukrainian frontlines, he adapted swiftly to running blades and has since conquered the track.

In Lviv, he completed a 5K at The New Running event, and at the 2024 United States Air Force and Marine Corps Trials, he struck gold in both the 100m and 200m sprints. His determination shines through every stride: “I wanted nothing more than to become active once more.”

Inspiring others to live an active life

Sam’s a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for many. Through his social media channels, he shares motivational content as an adaptive athlete, encouraging people to embrace an active lifestyle regardless of their circumstances.

Sam decided to run a marathon, with only 2 days notice. This spontaneous decision turned into a journey of self-discovery and a testament to what he is capable of achieving. Running a marathon is no small feat, but Sam tackled it head-on with the support of his Leviate running blade. Sam’s story is a powerful reminder that with the right mindset and tools, we can overcome any obstacle.

Jo's first 5K in 13 years

When Jo Beckwith shattered her ankle in a horseback riding accident at age 13, she lost her ability to run – and even walk properly – due to extreme pain. Following numerous operations, she eventually realized that she faced a life with extreme physical limitations. It was a life lightyears from what she really wanted.

“There was no hope of fully healing, and I didn’t like the life I was living. I could barely walk. So at 27, I considered amputating my leg below the knee.”

Following a second amputation on the same leg, Jo got her first running blade. It was a gift from a friend. She decided to go for the ultimate dream: to run a 5k – the first since her accident.

Months later, with hours of training on her new running blade, she finally did.

Inclusivity through photography

Allison E. Lang from Quebec is a multitalent content creator with a flair for photography. She also happens to be an adaptive model and a massive advocate for body inclusivity.

“I was born missing the lower half of my left leg – making me a below knee (bologna) amputee. I’m a passionate advocate for those with disabilities. My mission is to create a more accessible and body-inclusive world by sharing my story with others.

I want to educate others about disabilities and dismantle the stigma associated with that word. After all, I am a proud disabled woman, but it hasn’t always been this way.

I want to set an example for others by highlighting that ALL bodies are beautiful and contribute to creating a more inclusive and beautifully diverse society.”

A passionate triathlete

Jesus is a passionate triathlete from Spain and a daily user of both our running blade and everyday foot. With the versatility of Levitate’s prosthetics, Jesus seamlessly transitions between activities, showcasing his boundless athleticism. His journey motivates us to challenge ourselves and embrace the freedom to play.

Discovering a passion for running.

Elvanna's amputation journey began four years ago due to a dancing injury, leading her to discover a newfound passion for running.

Getting a Levitate running blade allowed Elvanna to embrace an active lifestyle. “Being able to switch from my everyday foot to my running blade has given me zero excuses to not be active. It’s faster than putting on a shoe on my regular foot.”

Elvanna is now the official Asia Sales Executive for Levitate and is thrilled to be part of the team. “The great part about working with Levitate is helping others the way I was helped.”
