Moving together with Come Back Alive: adaptive sports, shared moments, and first Steps

Moving together with Come Back Alive: adaptive sports, shared moments, and first Steps

From 5–7 July, Levitate took part in a powerful adaptive volleyball event organized by the Come Back Alive Initiative Center in Ukraine 🇺🇦. The event brought together over 120 participants, including veterans, military personnel, volunteers, and athletes — all united by movement, community, and strength.

Among them were people already using Levitate prosthetic feet, and many others trying them for the first time.

At our Levitate Experience Zone, some took their first running steps since injury, others walked without crutches for the first time. Together, we played volleyball, shot hoops, moved, laughed, and reminded each other what freedom of movement really means.

Our Levitate Ukraine team — Jacob Bolton, Eugene Nesterenko, Chris Greenwood, and Tetiana Hlushko — was on site, supporting the event and connecting with participants throughout the day.

It wasn’t just about sport — it was about resilience, connection, and movement without limits.
