How Running Blade Helped Kevin Chambers Smash His Goals

How Running Blade Helped Kevin Chambers Smash His Goals

"The difference my Levitate Running Blade made was night and day. Last year, I just hoped to finish. This year, I came in under an hour. I’m so fortunate to have a community that helped me get the equipment I needed to stay active."

We first met Kevin Chambers at our Test Run event in Boston in 2024. At that time, Kevin had recently undergone a foot amputation and was adjusting to his new life. Despite the challenges, he wasn’t letting anything slow him down. That day, he tried the Levitate Running Blade for the first time, and it was clear that this was just the beginning of something big.

Just one year after his surgery, Kevin set his mind on running the St. Patrick’s 10K, not just to challenge himself but also to raise funds for a Running blade that would help him get back to doing what he loved. With support from his community, he was able to achieve that goal.

This year at the Holyoke Road Race, Kevin didn’t just improve his time. He crushed it! He finished in 58:15, nearly 30 minutes faster than the year before and 1:45 under his personal goal.
Kevin’s journey isn’t just about improving his race time, it’s about progress. Last year, his focus was simply on finishing. This year, he set a goal and made it happen.
For anyone facing a similar challenge, Kevin’s experience shows that progress is achieved step by step. Whether it’s running your first race, walking farther than you thought possible, or just working toward a personal goal, every effort counts.
