Into the Wild with David duChemin and Forever Foot

Into the Wild with David duChemin and Forever Foot

Wildlife photographer, adventurer, and explorer of wild corners most of us only dream of.
David duChemin has spent his life in nature. He tracks bears through quiet forests, camps under open skies, and captures moments that most of us only ever see in photos. But behind every image is a personal story.

After a fall while making a photograph, David shattered both of his feet. His right foot never fully healed. Years of pain and limited movement led him to a big decision: to have it removed.

“Levitate has been with me almost since the beginning,” David says. “The other feet I tried were heavy and kind of clunky. I needed something light and easy to move with. I also needed to know it could handle the kind of places I go without breaking.” That’s where Forever came in.

Last weekend, David took a camping trip to the wild west side of Vancouver Island. He drove off-road, looked for bears, and explored the beaches. His Forever Foot came back a little muddy, but it handled everything without a problem.

“Thanks to Levitate for giving me my freedom back.” We’re just honored to be along for the ride, David.
