Khust Half Marathon 2026: A Return to Movement
On a spring day in Khust, movement meant more than reaching the finish line. At the Khust Half Marathon 2026, three Levitate users stepped into the race with a shared goal: to return to life, on their own terms.
Oleksii Rudenko, Dmytro Nabokov, and Pavlo Savchenko took part in the 10 km distance, each bringing a different story, but the same determination to move forward.
Oleksii Rudenko, a veteran and former Marine, has been on this path for some time. He received his Levitate Forever and Levitate Blade 2.5 years ago. Since then, running has become part of his life again, not just as training, but as a way to stay active and connected to what he enjoys. His journey has already taken him across major finish lines, including the London Marathon 2024 and the Barcelona Marathon 2025, both completed using a running blade.

For Dmytro Nabokov and Pavlo Savchenko, Khust marked a first. Their first race since injury. Their first time stepping into a competitive environment again.
Crossing that finish line carried a different weight.
“Well, now I can say it officially: I ran my first 10 km… on a prosthesis. This is another step in overcoming my fears. Khust is now, for me, the place where I proved to myself: I can do it,” Dmytro shared after the race.
Moments like these are not defined by pace or time. They are defined by the decision to start again.
With the support of the Levitate Running Blade, designed to provide a smooth and controlled energy return, all three athletes were able to approach the race with confidence and stability. The focus was not only on performance, but on enabling movement that feels natural and consistent.
The Khust Half Marathon became more than just an event. It became a point of return, a step back into sport, and a reminder that progress often begins with a single decision to move.
