We were also thrilled to witness Vasil, a Ukrainian soldier, conquer the 5K run. Vasil, who received his running blade in January, demonstrated remarkable dedication once more. After helping him fine-tune his blade the day before the event, he was ready to take on the challenge. Watching him soar across the finish line was just incredible.

Additionally, we had the honor of witnessing Yana, a young girl who lost both of her legs in the full scale invasion, complete the 1K and 100-meter runs. The crowd’s cheer as she walked and ran created an emotional and unforgettable moment.
