Unbroken Event: Lviv Municipal Shooting Range
As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Unbroken Foundation and Levitate Ukraine, the sixth large-scale prosthetic fitting took place at the Lviv Municipal Shooting Range.
This time, 15 Ukrainian defenders tested and were fitted with active and running prosthetic feet, helping them restore movement, rebuild confidence, and take another step toward returning to an active life.
Each participant was fitted with either the Levitate Forever or the Levitate Blade, selected according to their personal goals and activity level.
The Levitate Blade is designed for dynamic movement and running. Its lightweight carbon fiber construction delivers strong energy return and forward propulsion, creating a responsive and powerful stride.
The Levitate Forever supports everyday activity with a smooth rollover, shock absorption, and reliable stability across different terrains. Durable and versatile, it enables confident movement in both daily life and more active pursuits.
The prostheses were fitted by Unbroken Center prosthetists Oles Solodukha and Vladyslav Sikhovskyi, who carefully adjusted each prosthetic to the individual needs of the defenders. Physical therapist Khrystyna Tsap guided participants through their first steps, helping them rebuild movement patterns and, most importantly, trust in their own bodies.
Rehabilitation then moved beyond the fitting room as participants tested their new prosthetics during an archery session led by range coach Tetiana Yatsyshyn. On the range, balance, control, and focus became part of the recovery process. Every draw of the bow required stability. Every stance demanded confidence.
